How we’re paid
Affiliate disclosure
Loco HO is free to use. It’s paid for by affiliate links: if you buy something after following one, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you.
Amazon
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. On the shelf and in some guides’ “What you’ll need” lists, items have a “Search Amazon” link. These go to Amazon.co.uk search results (not a single product) and carry our Associates tag. We don’t show Amazon prices, ratings or product photos, because they change; Amazon’s own page is the place to check them.
Brands, retailers and clubs
Links to manufacturers, UK retailers and clubs are ordinary links — nobody pays to be listed. If we ever use an affiliate link with a retailer, it will be marked as sponsored in the page code and explained here.
What affiliate links don’t change
Affiliate links never change what we write. We list what a job needs whether or not there’s a link for it, and we don’t accept payment to include, exclude or recommend anything.
