Please read these before relying on anything on Loco HO.
General information only
Everything on this site is general information about railway modelling. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for your own trains, track, controllers, power supplies and decoders, and check that products are compatible with your system before connecting them.
Your safety
Use mains-powered equipment only as its maker intends, take care with sharp tools, glues, paints and solvents, and keep small parts away from young children. Stop if something turns out to be different from what a guide describes.
Accuracy
We research each page from the sources listed on it and show when it was last checked, but products, ranges, shops, clubs and show dates change, and we can’t promise every page is complete or current. Check with the business or club before you travel or buy. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for loss or damage arising from reliance on the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Calculators
The calculators do simple arithmetic with the published scale ratios. They don’t know what your models can run on — check the makers’ minimum radius and gradient information.
